About InkCraft

InkCraft started in late 2024 with two ad salespeople from USA Today: Adam and Kassem. Selling ads, they spent their days talking with small business owners, and the same complaint kept coming up. Getting custom shirts and merch made was harder than it should be. Prices were unclear, minimums were high, and orders took forever.

So they decided to build the printing company they wished existed: simple to order from, fast, and clear about price.

It started in a basement with one small DTF printer and a heat press. The first order came from a local Coney Island restaurant. It was a small job, but it proved the idea worked: a local business got great shirts, fast, at a price they understood up front.

From there, InkCraft grew the way the best local businesses do. Family pitched in to pack orders on nights and weekends. Happy customers told their friends. A local podcast spread the word. Within a year, the basement couldn’t keep up, and InkCraft moved into a 1,500 sq ft shop in downtown Monroe.

Our first Black Friday was a turning point. Orders came in faster than a small team could handle, and that showed us two things: people wanted what we were building, and doing it right meant building a real team. So we hired.

Kassem has since moved on to new things, and we’re grateful for everything he helped start. Today, Adam leads a team of six in Monroe, serving businesses, teams and organizations across Metro Detroit and all over the country.

What hasn’t changed

We’re bigger than that basement now, but we run on the same three ideas we started with:

• Clear about price. The price you see is the price you pay. Bulk discounts apply automatically, and there are no setup fees or surprise charges.
